Club Information

Trent Hockey Club is the largest mixed sports clubs at Nottingham Trent University. We are commited to ensuring the best standard of sport from our players as well as encouraging social development on and off the pitch.

We consist of 4 Men’s teams and 4 Women’s teams that each take part in the University associated BUCS leagues on Wednesdays. Some years we expand to provide coaching for a 5th Women’s team known as our Development Squad. All teams are also offered the chance to play in the Nottinghamshire local leagues each Saturday, either on our dedicated Women’s team and for Men through our newly formed partnership with the Nottinghamshire Hockey Club.

Players of all levels are encouraged to join our club and subject to trials, will be entered into a team deemed appropriate to improving their skill level.

Members are also motivated to take part in our highly engaging social scene on Wednesdays and throughout the year.

The academic year culminates in the Varsity Series, which is the biggest highlight for every member as all 9 teams are pitted against rivals from the University of Nottingham.
